Inflammation of the Deep Peroneal Nerve caused by entrapment

Fat Pad Atrophy

Breakdown or thinning or the protective fatty cushioning under the ball of  the foot or heel

Haglund's Deformity

Bony prominence on the back of the heel sometimes referred to as “Pump Bump”

Hallux Limitus/Rigidus

Limited range of motion of the big toe caused by arthritis

Hammertoe Deformity

Permanent contracture of one or both joints of the toes into a hook like form

Ingrown Toenail

A condition where the edge of the nail digs into the flesh

Intermetatarsal Neuroma

Swelling within the nerve caused by repetitive low-grade trauma

Metatarsal Fracture

Stress fracture to the metatarsal bones caused by fatigue

Midfoot Arthralgia

Pain at the junction of the metatarsal bones and the midfoot bones

Onycholysis

Painless separation of the nail from the nail bed

Peroneal Tendonitis

Overuse injury which causes inflammation of the peroneal tendons

Peroneal Tendon Attenuation

Pain and swelling to the outside region of the heel bone

Plantar Fibroma

Fibrorus knot to in the bottom of the arch

Plantar Fasciitis

Sharp pain caused by damage to the plantar facia

Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction

Loss of normal function of the Posterior Tibial tendon which can lead to chronic ankle pain and development of a flat foot

Retrocalcaneal Bursitis

Swelling of the fluid-filled sack at the back of the heel bone

Sesamoiditis

Swelling within the tissue surrounding the sesamoid bones

Sesamoid Fracture

Fracture of the sesamoid bones usually caused by trauma

Shin Splints

Pain caused by excessive stress from the muscular tissue attachments of the tibia

Sinus Tarsi Impingement

Pinching of the fatty tissues within the sinus tarsi region of the subtalar joint

Tailor's Bunion (Bunionnette)

Deviation of the fifth metatarsal leading to a bony prominence of the outside of the foot

Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome

Painful compression of the posterior tibial nerve as it enters the foot

Tibialis Anterior Tendonitis

Inflammation of the Tibialis Anterior tendon caused by overuse and excessive calf muscle tightness
